Essential Physics provides the following CT services:

• Accreditation - ACR or ICACTL, our physicists are experts in assisting you get your CT scanner(s) accredited. In addition to the annual physics testing, we also help the technologist set-up a QC protocol acceptable to the accrediting body.

• Perform annual testing to meet the requirements of 25 TEXAS ADMINISTRATIVE CODE§289.227 as they pertain to CT. This also includes serving on the Radiation Protocol Committee as required by the State.

• Provide assistance with equipment selection; design and evaluate shielding and perform acceptance testing for all newly installed scanners

• Estimate patient and/or fetal doses from CT scans.
